If you want a 5* hotel this is not the place for you. Rooms are very basic bed, tv, desk and some where to hang clothes. But saying that we had a reasonable night's sleep and was very quiet. Breakfast was cooked to order along with cereal, juice and croissant. Was just enough to start the day. I requested a ground floor room when checking in and it was no problem.
As a smoker i loved the double main door as you can smoke outside and still able to watch telly..instant and constant hot water. Been a guest twice over 5 years as it was booked to me.. has a dodgy look maybe, like a council estate but I felt safe and free..
Hotel is simple and good,room clean, Pets allowed ( 15£ night) Breakfast: english full and plus coffe,juice,toaste bread,biscuits. Bar working every day and pizza take away. Location very perfect -nearly train station and hotel is nearly Liverpool ( with train 25min)
Clean, comfortable rooms, quiet though you can hear noise from other rooms. Great value for money. Not the best looking from the outside but it's a bed, not a painting. Great location for Runcorn Town centre and train station.
I had a great stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station—perfect for travellers. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any requests. My room was clean and comfortable, and overall, the hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere. The only downside was the halogen heaters in the bathrooms, which took a while to warm up. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall positive experience. I would definitely stay here again!
Stayed here for work. Room was clean and tidy had everything you would need. The best part of the stay was the staff Megan and Jonathan were fantastic had a rite laugh they are a credit to the place.
For what it is, it's actually good and does the job. Yes, the rooms are basic and it's not great to look at, but it's very clean and has towels/shower gel/ tea and coffee etc. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the bar/restaurant area is pristine. They serve a decent selection of drinks. We ate a pizza which was freshly made in the kitchen and tasted really good. The staff and service were good. No complaints here!
I literally booked in, slept, and left the following morning. Room was warmed before I got there, bed was very comfortable. I never stayed for breakfast so can't comment. If I had to use a hotel in Runcorn again I'm definitely comin back here.
